Our ServicesRiver East Personal Care Home operates in conjunction with Manitoba Health and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority to provide quality care. Every 2 years, our programs and services are assessed by Manitoba Health and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority to ensure they are inline with the various standards set forth by Province.River East Personal Care Home Ltd. recognizes that it has a corporate and social responsibility as an employer, economic entity, educational resource, and as a community partner to offer and promote health care services. To achieve our commitment and meet our responsibilities, we believe that a people-oriented management approach is the key to success. We employ staff members that are certified within their various fields of service and that meet high expectations for care provision. Elder centered care is provided through an interdisciplinary approach, meaning we rely of many professionals to ensure our Elders receive the best care possible. Our emphasis is on holistic wellness and maximizing an Elder's potential and capabilities. We see our relationship with not only these professionals but with families and friends as a partnership, wanting to achieve a common goal. Our Interdisciplinary Team is made up of individuals from the following areas: We provide a wide range of personal care/health services such as in house hairdresser, dental, lab and x-ray for the comfort and convenience of the Elders.
